The objective of the St. James Fishing club is to promote fellowship, knowledge, sportsmanship and conservation practices involved in the art of salt water and fresh water sport fishing.
Club meetings are open to all St James residents and property owners and we encourage you to attend.

Three members of the Lake Jennings Boy Scout Troop 325; James, Brandon, and Charlie, are currently working on obtaining their fishing merit badge for a fishing trip they have planned this summer. Their instructor Bryan sent us this link and thought our members might find it useful.

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ latest survey of the inlet reveals the inlet is severely shoaled, meaning it’s very shallow. According to a bulletin from the Coast Guard, the waters are less than two feet deep at low tide.
